Faculty of Engineering

Faculty of Engineering contains collages as follow:

  • Mechatronics Engineering

    Mechatronics is the combination of Mechanical engineering, Electronic engineering, Computer engineering, Control engineering, and System Design engineering in order to design, and manufacture useful products. Mechatronics is multidisciplinary engineering system design; it leads to a new important research field and at the same time helps to push research in related fields into new fruitful direction.

  • Telecommunication Engineering

    This program aims towards providing the student with the basics of engineering and modern communication systems. It qualifies the student to work on many of the modern communication networks such as the telephone system networks, broadcasting stations networks, wired and wireless communication systems, fiber-optics networks and satellite communication systems, analog and digital communication systems and its electrical and electromagnetic decals, methods of transmission and treatments.

  • Electronics Engineering

    The graduate of electronic engineering will obtain an honors B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering. The objective of which is to provide adequate numbers of electronics engineers in response to the scientific breakthrough in utilizing the electronics technology and the growing demand for electronics engineers in the fields of electronics industries.



Program Admission Requirements

  • Successfully obtaining The Sudan High School Certificate or its equivalent in scientific studies or techno-industrial studies.
  • Obtaining of pass marks in the four compulsory subjects (English language, Arabic language, Religion studies and additional mathematics).
  • For Scientific collages: obtaining pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Computer studies, engineering sciences, Art and Design, Fundamentals of Industries, Technical drawing, Workshops studies.
